Boys being men

Hey all! It’s been good to see this place alive with activity after so many months of quarantine. We saw several machines and vehicles traveling through this weekend and many neighbors were up to enjoy the warm weather! Love it!
While I’m here, I want to share with all of you the standards we’re setting for these future adults. Our motto is it’s fine to have some fun, as long as it’s responsibly. We were finally able to celebrate our boy’s birthday and he had a few friends over to ride. Unfortunately, his bday coincided with the beginning of the COVID shutdown, as many milestones have for all of us. With schools given the green light and all the boys on the same pod in practice, we felt it safe to host a small get together.
As a part of the deal, this morning the boys willingly raked the roads where they rode. They repaired several truck tracks and evened out the gravel in some high spots. (Pic attached for a good chuckle.) This was the plan all along, and anybody that wasn’t willing to be responsible wasn’t allowed to attend. We live in here, enjoy riding, and appreciate the nice roads. Mind you, they didn’t spin donuts or tear anything up. They knew they were being watched and were going to be held accountable. I personally completed a road inspection this morning. I’m happy to report they were given several expectations and they rose to those standards.
Thanks for all you do to help make this a place to live, love, and enjoy. It was good to see you again!

its good to see responsible young men. thanks for posting Jason
I LOVE IT! Hey, would your boys being men like to earn some cold hard cash? I need some work done outside, heavy work like this and am willing to pay them $15/hr – negotiable, for raking my drive and back-filling gravel, moving some downed trees, and helping me set up a fire pit. I also need some weed whacking and hedge trimming done.
Please have them email me directly if they’re interested. cherylwillard1@comcast.net
Thank you!
Love this! Keep up the good work!
