Information on our Annual Property Owners Meeting
Our AWPOA Board discussed concerns for holding our annual meeting this year, in light of COVID and the WV Governor’s guidelines for crowd size. We have also reviewed this concern with our attorney, and under the current situation, it is appropriate to postpone the meeting to an undefined later date. The two business items the owners handle at each meeting are to elect board members and to approve the budget. If a meeting is not held in 2020, the current situation moves forward until the meeting would ultimately be held.
Two board positions would be up for election in 2020, and if anyone would like to place his/her name in nomination, we will look to find another manner to carry out that action, thus precipitating some form of meeting.
So, please respond if you would like to place your name in nomination for a board position. Also, please respond if you have very strong feelings that we should hold our annual meeting in some manner or another.
