Spring Clean-Up Day
Each spring, a number of our Ashton Woods owners join to do the landscaping clean-up work at our three gates. Saturday, April 17 is the date for this year. Aware that the pandemic guidelines are still in place, we will handle this as last year where assignments will be given to small groups of people and the work can be completed over several days that weekend.
The first task which needs to be completed prior to that weekend would be to cut down the grass plants at each gate. A volunteer to do that would be wonderful.
We are planning to put small river rock at our Trough View Gate as we did at the Main Gate last year. More help would be needed for this task.
Other work would be to rake out old leaves (use a blower for the rocks at the Main Gate) . . . mulch at the West Gate plus the entrance signs at the TV Gate and the trees at the Main Gate . . . using Round-Up or other weed killer for weeds at all gates . . . and spreading fertilizer on all plants.
John Rice will be supervising the work this year, so please reply to this message or directly to him at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks for your help.
