Trough View Gate
I understand that many of you have concerns regarding the TV gate being in the up position for most of the year. The gate company (ASAP) has been up here several times to try and troubleshoot the problem & to come up with an efficient fix. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an easy fix. The gate, sensor, and base were knocked out of alignment & it is not an easy/timely fix.
As you may have noticed, nothing up here happens as fast as we are accustomed to. I can assure you, the gate being up has not been for lack of effort. I speak with ASAP more than I do to my friends/family!! I can guarantee that not a single person in AW wants this gate fixed more than me.
Some of you may be thinking, “just get a new maintenance company”. I wish it were that simple! ASAP is the only company around that can/will take service the gates, as such, we are at their mercy/timeline.
Please……before you send me any emotionally charged/passive aggressive emails, remember the information in this message.

Thankyou for taking the time to explain the severity of the damage to the gate. I know you are trying to take care of the issue.
Is there a chance maybe a cable could be put up from like 1000pm to 5am or something temporarily throughout the night hours. Any other suggestions would be great from other residents until the gate could be permanently fixed. Just a thought!! Thanks again for all that you are doing to resolve the issue
Sean…
Do we (you) know who did the damage by sliding into the mechanism (not asking for the name)? Video cameras checked? Is this an insurance claim? Thanks for your work on this.
