Sad News

It is not easy to share the news that one of our full time members was killed yesterday in an accident at his home. Jerry Cole
was doing yard work, something the loved doing, when an accident took his life. I spoke with Shirley this evening and she gave me permission to share this message with our Ashton Woods community. Those who knew Jerry knew he was always willing to help our AW neighbors, always with a smile and happy attitude. Please keep Shirley in your thoughts and prayers ad she mourns the loss of Jerry.

I am so surprised and sad to read this news. I haven’t moved in to Ashton Woods yet- but I have exchanged many messages with Jerry and so has my father. He was full of generosity and interesting stories and I am so sad I will never meet him in person. He was a bright light and my heart and prayers go out to those who loved and knew him..
