Tree Company
we just want to give a big shout to JC Tree Service. We needed 8 trees taken down, bucked and stacked, 5 trees limbed up and about two acres of locust trees taken down. I called several of the companies recommended. One said they did not have enough employees and could not do estimates ’til at least July. Two never returned our calls. Within 10 minutes of my leaving a message, Javier called me back and was at our house a couple of hours later. Gave us an estimate which was reasonable and said he and his team would be at our house this past Saturday. Friday, a call to confirm he would be arriving at 6:30 am. He and 3 workers showed up at the appointed time in full safety clothing and hard hats. Everything was done in a professional manner and all debris cleared before they departed. We will bring them back for more work in the fall.

Call Tony Casto at TriCounty Handyman, LLC; 304 8517355. I have tried contacting him since the storms, but he hasn’t responded, which is unusual, so he may be without power or had some other storm related problem come up.
We have also used Harris Tree Service. Kyle is great, just let him know we recommended him, maybe I’ll get a discount next time I need him! 😀

I’ve used JC Tree Service a few times last year and have been satisfied. This year’s quotes have been quite high, with the last one magnitude higher (x2-x3 times) vs another local business. There are quite a few less expansive alternatives out there.
Not sure if we need a tree service or an excavator. Want to take some trees out to open up the view and have a pasture.
