Zip Line

Zip Line

My wife and I had a zip line up at our place for many years. I took it down because the trees that the line was attached to had grown so much that the wires were digging in.

In the meantime–as generally happens–our kids also grew up. As such, I don’t intend to put it back up.

We would love to pass along, free of charge, the component parts to another family that will get use out of them. We have everything you need:

–Cable (3/8″, galvanized)
–Turnbuckles
–Brakes
–Trolleys
–Slings
–Harnesses
–Carabiners
— Launch platform (deer stand)
–10,000# ratchet straps (to prevent the attached trees from being pulled over)

Everything. The only thing we ask is that only neighbors interested in actually putting up a zip line reach out. The components cost a couple of thousand dollars and we could sell them ourselves but we’d rather see one of our neighbors and their kids put them to good use.

Hi! This is such a kind offer! We would definitely be interested in this and would certainly put it to good use! Our kids are 14 and 15 and if it’s suitable for adults, im confident they would love it. We will be up there this weekend and could coordinate with you if that works for you.
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi David and Grace –
We are also interested in this generous offer. Our kids and grandkids would greatly enjoy this. If it doesn’t work out for the Smith’s, please let us know. Thanks much!

A family reached out via text first thing this morning so as of now, it’s spoken for.
