Forest Fire Threat (HIGH)

Due to the lack of precipitation the WV Department of Forestry has raised the forest fire threat to HIGH. This includes all counties around AW. Please refrain from starting outside fires or use extreme caution until the threat is minimized. Disposing of cigarettes and other smoking material from vehicles or onto the forest floor can have devastating effects. There is rain in the forecast for the weekend so hopefully life will return to normal soon. Thank you for taking the time to help protect our community.
