Moving Trucks

Moving Trucks

Hi, I am getting ready to start planning to move to AW fulltime. Is it possible to get a 26′ moving truck thru our roads to my home on black oak? I am concerned with all the switchbacks, wasnt sure we would be able to get a truck of that size there without issue. Any info you can provide is much appreciated 👍

Bern, I have property on Black Oak i know the switchbacks you are talking about I tow my 37 ft. 5th wheel up Black oak it is tight you have to take it slow, I think if you you have an experienced Driver a 26 foot box truck can make it around that last tight turn if the driver swings wide to the left side he will not make in one shot (unless he’s good) he will have to back up and redirect the front end of the truck but I think it can be done. you will need an experienced driver that’s not nervous. This is my take on it. Hope I it works out for you.

Thank you Larry! This does help a lot. I am trying to do a one and done move with a company I have used before who did an exceptional job. Will talk to them about their driver experience and see what they can do.
